Limitations for Swapping into Open Positions
Position Swap Restrictions:
In order to maintain security and quality control of the protocol, only approved tokens are accepted as outputs while opening a new or modifying existing positions. Straight Swaps, however, are an exception and may accommodate swapping any asset into any asset.
Asset Compatibility
The swapping mechanism will however allow users to trade OUT OF any asset that exists on the Monad blockchain when conducting a Straight Swap or Position generating swap. The UI notates incompatible assets in a user's possession during the swap attempt; involving incompatible assets in this process will add no additional friction to the user experience.
Governance:
The Hedgemony Foundation considers all relevant factors and makes its best judgement when compiling an initial list of compatible assets. The list is mutable and evolves in accordance to amendments passed through mHEDGE governance voting.
