Profitability of Strategy Ownership

A fee is required when opening a Position. This fee is delegated to users and/or the protocol treasury depending on who owns the strategy. Protocol-owned Strategies receive the entire fee, while user-owned Strategies share this fee between protocol and owner. Strategy ownership earnings are determined by each publisher's VIP tier (see Earnings Share column on VIP breakdown). As a result there is incentive for active users to make appealing Strategies so they can earn additional passive yield. Volume adopted into a Strategy is directly proportional to the Strategy owner's proceeds. mHEDGE voters can also direct yield incentives towards or away from any strategy they chose; details regarding this can be found in Yield Channeling.
